|Life After Football|
Not for the first time, NSS Magazine have trolled some of fashion’s most revered brands – using some classic football shirts to do so, once again.
The popular spoofs of Balenciaga, Vetements and COMME des GARÇONS are back for a Spring/Summer 2018 line, as the much-talked-about collective brings these brands to international football – a perfect pre-Russia plan.
This is the fifth time NSS have dropped such shirts, bringing mostly vintage football shirts together with misspelt and bootlegged fashion brands for a controversial statement. tops emblazoned with parodied spellings of some of today’s iconic fashion brands. With Germany, England and Brazil jerseys among the drop, there’s a distinctive World Cup flavour to this new spoof of a release.
What’s also great, is this paparazzi style lookbook, as models in the clothes look to dip and hide from the cameras with help of security guards. An amazing sense of satire is present in this drop, with hot takes on high-fashion and celebrity culture as the centre of a capsule that many people will be talking about. The jerseys are available now over at NSS Mag‘s online store.
