With 5 days until the Uefa Champions League Final, excitement is building and Mo Salah fever is, too.
The Egyptian, the star of Liverpool's season and much of their run to the Champions League Final, has captured the imagination of the football world with his amazing form. He recently secured the Golden Boot in England for scoring the most Premier League goals ever in a single 38-game season and now, one of the country's most famous, illustrious museums has a pair of his boots on display.
In their world-famous Egyptian section, the boots of the man Liverpool fans are calling 'The Egyptian King' have been encased for all to see at London's British Museum. Donated by adidas to celebrate Salah's achievements, they act as a temporary display in the same room as relics from Ancient Egypt sit.
The boots have helped him to that record tally of 32 Premier League goals in his first, incredible season at Liverpool, whilst he's currently on 44 goals for the season as a whole. If the Egyptian King is crowned a King of Europe when the Reds meet Real Madrid in Kiev this Saturday, the next tribute to Mo Salah might just be even more noteworthy than this.
But for now, look out for Salah's adidas boots if you happen to be one of the thousands who walk through the British Museum's famous doors every day.
