A unique car that we had been admiring for a while, was auctioned during the Fashion Player Award Night 2018.
With it's unique, luminous strip that lights up in the dark (designed by artist Pablo Lücker), this car immediately catches the eye. The paint has a 'scorpion touch', which gives light in the darkness of the paint job. Because the scorpion sheds skin sixteen times in his life, the lacquer has been enriched with luminous features of the scorpion skin.
Performance, craftsmanship and technical innovation come together in a sensational way and this car is truly a bright spot in the wintry street scene. There's no wonder that this eye-catcher was a popular attraction on Thursday November 1st in Sugar City Halfweg, where Ajax's Dušan Tadić was crowned Life After Football's Fashion Player of 2018.
The car was designed as a tribute to Carlo Abarth. The founder of the Abarth brand died of cancer in 1979. The proceeds from the winning bid were donated to the Dutch Cancer Society.
