Cosmetic distributor CARE COSMETICS in Barendrecht has, over the past few years, taken many brands under its wing and now has more than twenty years of expertise in the cosmetics industry.
Director Duco van Keimpema took PUPA Milano as the first beauty brand on board. Today it is still there. Reason enough to let PUPA's Make-up Artist and Creative Director Giorgio Forgani speak.
'My passion for make-up began at an early age with my mother and grandmother. I also trained on my peers.'
Years later, Giorgio's dream became reality - he became a Make-up Artist and eventually, he and PUPA joined forces. 'For me as Make-up Artist, this was a great opportunity. Together with the marketing team, I am involved in the development of make-up products. PUPA VAMP! was my first, own product and to date, this is still the best-selling mascara in Italy.'
The fashion industry is an important source of inspiration for PUPA. In the collections we see colours that are also used by the well-known fashion houses in Milan. "Another important focus within our brand lies with PUPA SPORT ADDICTED, a line full of products that are sweat-proof and waterproof."
With the holidays coming up, the beauty guru has something in store: 'It's the time of metallic, glitter, glamour and holographic make-up. Of course, you do not have to look like a Christmas tree, but the metallic highlighter from the GLOW OBSESSION line and the Rock & Rose metallic lip gloss will definitely bring you into higher spheres.'
