|Life After Football|
We have a LAF Playlist first this week, as we give you a playlist composed by a football-turned-rapper.
It comes from Royston Drenthe as the former Real Madrid man gives us a selection of music that's he's feeling at the moment.
Showing that he knows what he's doing, Royston begins the playlist with an instrumental intro before getting into something from the Dutch producer and DJ, Esko. Linking up with Josylvio and Hansie, Hey Meisje is the first vocal track on this LAF Playlist and a certified summer tune.
Royston then takes us into some Cardi B before bringing us something from LAF Playlist regular, Drake. Then, another first for this ongoing series. Some music from our man, in question; Royston Drenthe aka Roya2faces.
The Rotterdam-based artist and former footballer shares with us a track from his debut EP, a four-track long piece called Quatro. Boeman features Raw Roets and opens up a project that acts as a key milestone with Royston's transition from football to music - definitely worth checking out.
Followed up by more Dutch hip-hop courtesy of Idaly and Jandro before Broederliefde see us out, this is certainly one of the most unique and well put together playlists that we've had so far. Be sure to check out the full selection on our Spotify page.
